GA-RF-WSN is a research project directed by C System in association with Omicron Consulting, Microntel and Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (ISMB), 
aimed at developing a low cost integrated platform of geolocation, monitoring, control and tracking of people and objects within demarcated areas or buildings.
In order to accomplish this task, there will be a special focus on keeping the project open to new technologies and WSN platforms, likely to be developed in the next few years.
GA-RF-WSN : Geolocation, monitoring and trackingThis platform, integrated with videosurveillance and intrusion detection systems, can monitor steady and moving people or objects in real-time and through a remote workstation as well. More specifically, the system will manage the access rights of a person provided with a RFID and/or WSN towards an access gate to a demarcated area and will track that person within that area.
There will also be a special feature enabling the definition of a specific equipment required to access a selected area (for instance, helmets in construction sites).
